BFB Peer Mentors

Eileen Wang

Eileen Wang is currently a freshman at Princeton University studying Operations Research & Financial Engineering. She graduated from Williamsville East High School in 2024, during which she received the Harvard Prize Book award and Scholarship for Academic Excellence.


Aside from winning the 2020-2021 Youth Achievement Competition with her team, Eileen also received five President’s Volunteer Service Awards for her dedication to serving the Buffalo community and was named the 2024 Independent Health and Business First Wellness All-Star scholarship recipient for her leadership and efforts in promoting mental wellness throughout her school and community. 


As a second-generation Asian American, Eileen finds great pride in learning Chinese as a way to stay connected to her roots. She passed the highest level in the HSK Chinese Proficiency Test and intends to continue her multilingual studies. Currently, she leads a national youth organization dedicated to AAPI advocacy and empowerment.


As a BFB Peer Mentor, Eileen hopes to provide guidance and support to future community advocates, as well as to promote cultural diversity and inclusivity.
