BFB #TreeHollow

BFB’s #CommunityHealing Program is part of our student empowerment programs which works to provide a safe space for local youth of multicultural backgrounds to explore their identities. Youth are provided with mental health support and have the opportunity to form connections based on empathy and understanding. and work to ultimately realize that “being yourself is good enough.”

Students have the chance to participate in a Healing-Centered Youth Workshop in partnership with the Coalition for Asian American Children and Families (CACF). Through a series of workshops during five weeks, youth participated in various activities to support mental health, promote racial healing and work toward racial equity. Stay tuned as BFB’s Student Mental Health Ambassadors will continue developing new ideas and activities in order to create that safe space for their peers.

If you would like to be a part of the #TreeHollow Program, please complete the Mental Health Ambassador training first. Read about the Mental Health Ambassador training and submit your application form here
