Jane-Roz Abbe is the child of immigrants from Kenya and South Sudan and was raised by her Kenyan mother in a small town in New Jersey. She holds an A.A in Psychology from County College of Morris and a B.A in Psychology from Rutgers University. Abbe is currently a M.S candidate at the University at Buffalo for Mental Health Counseling. 

Abbe is interested in gaining information and experience on how to work effectively with immigrant communities. She also intends to be an active advocate for these communities while providing a safe space to foster mental health education and care.
