Student Advisory Committee

Anmoldeep Kaur is a junior at Williamsville North High School and co-leader of the #MyStory program with Aidin Afrasiabi. #MyStory develops immigrant narratives through the combination of oral history, narrative therapy, and portrait exhibits to promote diversity, inclusion, and equity. 

Having spent the majority of her childhood in India, Anmol has first-hand experience regarding the struggles of identity and communication as a multilingual speaker concerning cultures of intensive history and traditions. #MyStory provides a direct line of contact for open communication and storytelling in order to assist in the journey of self-discovery and healing. Anmol strives to aid that objective with honest effort and resilient perseverance.
