Student Advisory Committee

Jonathan is currently a junior at Williamsville East High School. He is involved in hospital and community volunteering for multiple organizations. He has been recognized as a Mental Health Ambassador. His dedication has honored him with the Gold President’s Volunteer Service Award.

In addition, he actively participates in health-related research and scientific competitions. He has won regional awards, making him qualified for next level competitions. Jonathan loves playing music and swimming in his free time. He has attended ECMEA and NYSSMA festivals and gotten full scores at band auditions. He is on the varsity swim team at his school. 

As a descendant from Chinese immigrants, he was born in the US and raised in China during his early childhood. He hopes to use his perspective to preserve culture, embrace diversity, and create unity within the community.
