Student Advisory Committee

Emily Zhuang is a freshman that is currently attending Williamsville North High School and also a member of Bridges From Border’s Student Advisory Comittee. She has won silver in the previous year for the 2021-2022 Youth Achievement Conpetition as a leader with her “Taste of Culture '' team.

Emily is actively passionate about music and sports. She is a participant in multiple music festivals like ECMEA and NYSSMA for the cello. She also loves to play tennis and was a participant for the ECICS in the previous year. Along with sports and music, she is very passionate about sharing cultural diversity. Her team in the past year set up an event at Bassett Park for some diverse food sampling. The goal of her team’s event was to give others a “Taste of Culture” using different foods from different countries to introduce how each culture is different by using the aspect of food. 

As Emily goes into high school, she hopes to continue her goal of acknowledging cultural diversitiy to as many people as she can reach.
