Student Advisory Committee

Aidin Afrasiabi is a freshman at Williamsville South High School. He is a graduate of the National Junior Honor Society and WEB, both programs involving helping out around the school and community.

Aidin is involved in many clubs and sports at his school, including the student council, where he helps organize events and coordinates information to and from classrooms. He has played volleyball for 3 years and obtained the captain position, showcasing his leadership skills. Additionally, he is a part of the South varsity tennis team and a member of the Science Olympiad team at his school.

As a first-generation immigrant, Aidin understands the struggle of others being thrown into a new environment, whether it's the country, state, or even school. Aidin hopes to make everyone feel welcome and help them find their place in the community. Through any means necessary, such as BFB or Student Council, Aidin aims to make his community a more welcoming and equally just place where people can express themselves freely.
