Dr. Yan Hu is a pathologist at Eastern Great Lakes Pathology.  She serves as assistant medical director for the laboratory of Kenmore Mercy Hospital and Eastern Niagara Hospital.

She received her M.D. from Nankai University and Ph. D. in Biochemistry from University at Buffalo. She finished her residency and fellowship training from University at Buffalo and University of Pennsylvania respectively.

She has mentored many medical students and residents through the years, and she serves as an editor for North American Journal of Medicine and Science. As a physician and a first-generation immigrant, Dr. Hu has full passion to promote mental health and well-being of the immigrant community.
