With 30 years of working in the multinational companies and 20 years in Human Resources (HR) and talent management, Rena has worked with folks from many different cultural backgrounds. As the Human Resources Director of Sony (China), she led a team of over 40 staff members across all HR functions. In her over-ten-year tenure at Sony, she worked with various groups of people including local employees and overseas expatriates, as well as conducted change management and talent development programs. Rena also directly dialogued with Union members to promote diversity and create a better working environment. At her most recent role as Director of Business Development for Standard Textile in Asia, Rena took a career transition to work closely with external clients and lead sales and marketing. 

Rena received her MBA from the University of Hull in UK and an MBA certificate from China Europe International Business School in Shanghai. She is also a certified IPMA-HR. 

Rena’s interest in Mental Well-Being originated from both her professional and personal experiences. During her daughter’s studying in the US, Rena had a strong desire to help and better support her daughter in a new environment, and this accelerated her learning process. Rena is passionate about leveraging her knowledge and experience through helping those around her with advice and mentorship.
